At this time’s Photograph of the Day is “Heat Clouds and Cool Bushes” by Jeremy Janus. Location: Standley Lake in Colorado.

“After we had been driving residence from the mountains within the early afternoon, I appeared over at clouds coming over the entrance vary and knew it will be a tremendous sundown,” explains Janus. “I made a decision to drive over to Standley Lake within the later afternoon to arrange for sundown. The cloud formations had been completely wonderful, and the way in which the solar minimize the mountains created heat tones on the clouds and the cool tones sat on the again finish of the lake. That is considered one of my favourite sunsets I’ve ever shot.”
