World Oceans Day 2023 Competitors: Deadline Extension!

DPG is happy to announce that the deadline for submissions for the tenth annual Photograph Competitors for UN World Oceans Day has been prolonged, and the competition is now open till April twenty eighth, 2023!⁠

The milestone competitors presents a singular alternative for photographers to showcase the immense breadth and depth of the ocean’s magnificence in addition to to make clear the lesser identified  promise and potential brimming beneath its waves. Winners will likely be introduced on stage in the course of the UN World Oceans Day occasion on June eighth and broadcast reside on UN TV.

The photograph competitors for UN World Oceans Day is curated by Ellen Cuylaerts and judged by a jury of world famend photographers. The 2023 competitors is organized in partnership with DPG, Oceanic World, United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Regulation of the Sea, Nausicaa and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Fee of UNESCO. Judges embody: Rathika Ramasamy, Ipah Uid Lynn, Rajan Desai and Antoine Janssens.
